World Accordion Day 2026 was a lively celebration of music, community, and all things accordion! Held May 2nd at Waller’s Coffee Shop in Decatur, GA, the afternoon featured performances by Justin Thornburgh, Diane Marie, George Voorhees, Lisa Lancey, Jake Herzog, Mark Lamback, and The Accordionology Duo (Kyle Turner & Dan Coy), plus more local talent.
Guests explored a mini accordion museum, checked out merch by Tato Alexander, jumped into the open jam session, and struck a pose at the photo wall—all while enjoying great food and drinks. With a raffle for an Excelsior Accordiana and a welcoming, music-filled atmosphere, it was a day to remember!
